Contact LLCForming
One email address for everything: corrections, questions, and feedback. Corrections get priority, because accuracy is the whole point of this site.
What to write about
- A fee or deadline looks wrong. Send the state, the page, and a link to the official source if you have one. If you are right, we fix the page and log the correction with your find credited to a reader tip.
- A guide is unclear. Tell us where you got stuck. Plain English is the standard, and confusion is a bug.
- Your state is not covered yet. We are expanding state by state, and requests influence the order.
- Business inquiries. Partnerships and data licensing questions are welcome at the same address.
What we cannot do by email
We cannot give legal or tax advice about your specific business, and we cannot file or fix a formation for you. For those, your state's filing office and a licensed professional in your state are the right contacts. If your question is really a state filing question, your Secretary of State's business division answers founder questions every day and is usually faster than anyone.
General Information Only
LLCForming publishes general information about forming and running an LLC. It is not legal, tax, or accounting advice, and it does not create an attorney or advisor relationship. Rules vary by state and by your situation. For a decision that matters, talk to a licensed attorney or tax professional in your state.
